How do I prepare my entry to and stay in Germany?

Living in Germany gives you the chance to get a sense of the German lifestyle and mentality. By meeting and becoming friends with Germans, you'll see that Germany is a vibrant democracy with room for different opinions, ways of thinking and lifestyles.

To be an active part of society, it is important to be able to communicate in German. So, having at least a language proficiency of a B1/ B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is strongly encouraged.
